I love the way Posh dresses. Granted, she goes a little overboard with the short-shorts and 4-inch heels for a walk with her family, but she always looks chic. You gotta love the attitude! I particularly love this outfit because she pairs her usual body-hugging top, oversized sunglasses, and sky-high shoes with a crisp, flowy-A line pleated Azzedine Alaia dress with sheer stripes. Your fave cotton plaid shirt just became wearable again. When paired with the right outfit, a long-sleeve button down p-shirt can go from day. . . to night (believe it or not). My shopper’s mag suggested pairing the p-shirt with a pair of shorts and a white tank. I saw a girl rocking this look today on my way to the office and it works. I want a p-shirt now! I can’t get enough shoes. If you’ve read any of my posts over the past year, you probably know this-  75% of my posts are about shoes. We had to start a rule in the house that entails the removal of one pair of shoes if another is to enter the household. It’s a rough life.

I’m completely smitten over the crazy new shoes that are appearing on the runway as well as in the streets. The search for the best shoe this season ends at this Jeffrey Campbell Unicorn Princess Shoe: Ruffles.  Unicorn Heel. Gold. Amazing.

Another one at the top of my list is the Industry Leather Wedge, available in teal at Modcloth.com and beige at 80’s Purple.

I’m not going to lie- the most I’ve ever seen of anything Star Trek is the preview for the 2009 version that came on before the movie I actually paid to go see. Just because I’m not a Trekkie, however, does not mean I don’t appreciate futuristic fashion! “Star Trek” premiered on the 8th of this month and Zoe Saldana looks like she rocked the role of Nyota Uhura (cute dress!). Disney-Pixar’s Up is less than a month away from premiering (May 29th in Disney Digital 3-D)! If you liked Monster’s Inc., brace yourself: Up is directed by the same guy, Pete Docter. I have a feeling it’s going to be absolutely hilarious and completely darling. How could it not be? Duh, I’m obsessed with the characters already and, as you know, I’m always looking for an excuse to dress up. If you’re like me and/or you’re just super-excited for a new Pixar movie, you should check out my Dress Like Carl Fredricksen from Disney-Pixar’s UP shopping guide. This outfit’s great for opening night at the movies, Halloween, a Pixar theme party, or just for fun. Obviously, the main character is MALE, but the products in my guide are all women’s apparel and accessories (i.e. a pre-tied bow tie). It’s really cute, you’ll see.

Every year in April, my alumni college town hosts “Picnic Day.” This all-day event is “designed to showcase the richness and diversity of campus life, as well as the community” of the small town and has been a tradition for the past 95 years. It’s super fun to walk around town and celebrate springtime with friends literally from morning ‘til night. Picnic Day is one of the major events of the city which everyone knows about and practically everyone looks forward to. You’re going to be seen, so you’ve got to look cute!

I will be taking a drive up for my 6^th Picnic Day this weekend and I can’t wait to see all my old friends! Bobbi Blu makes the most comfortable and adorable shoes I’ve ever seen or worn. I own one pair, but might have to invest in another! I can’t get over the sale prices I found for my Girly Bobbi Blu shopper’s guide! The shoes may not be the spankin’ new Fall ‘09’s, but they still look hot to me! They’re cute, feminine, and classic enough to transcend the seasons, yet they’re somehow still unique and fresh.

Though the colors are mostly muted (which match everything!), they pop because of the unique designs, patterns, fabrics, and accents used by Bobbi Blu. Think patent, satin, floral, ruffles, scallops, buttons, and everything girly and wonderful! Plus, I’m always sold on any shoes with padded soles, especially pumps! Cute and comfy? HAAAAY!!

I’m completely obsessed with shoes of all kinds and am ECSTATIC  that I get to pick out two pairs of shoes for my wedding; one pair of flats and one pair of heels. Originally, I was just going to wear a pair of heels, and my fiancé reminded me that I may not want to wear heels for the entire reception- seeing as how there will be TONS of dancing;-)

My ultimate goal is to find two pairs that I could maybe, possibly, one day want to wear again. Which basically means that I don’t want a pair of dyables. The flats don’t matter quite as much as the heels, because my dress will probably cover them, so a simple pair of ballet flats will work. I know that I’ll have to wait until I have my dress finished to pick out shoes, but I’ve got a good list going of both heels and flats for when I’m ready to make the big decision. I’m really going for a vintage feel for the wedding and I love the idea of having gold, silver, or off-white shoes (my dress is going to be closer to off-white than pure white).
